ASHGROVE – Framing the old

Concept – A recessive aesthetic for the large rear extension frames and identifies the existing house.

Design – A rear extension accommodating the new living areas of the house. A wide building maximises the northern aspect and minimises the intrusion into the back yard. The recessive aesthetic frames the existing house without dominating.
